Hey guys I want to tell you guys what happen when New Market School came and visited us.
First me, Meleane and Shireen went to the office to welcome New Market to our School. As we walked outside the wind was making the leaves move.Then we finally got back in our warm classroom. After all that we introduced ourselves. Me Meleane, Heamapo, Alisi and Shireen met Anya. We talked and we each told Anya what year we were.
After that me, Shireen and Meleane said the prayer to ask Tane Matua, (the God of the land). After that we walked down to the Flax to cut some harakeke. First Mrs Bryant (the teacher of New Market School), Mrs Barton and Mrs Clarie( also a teacher of New Market School) cut first. So then they asked us if we wanted to cut some harakeke. Some of us said YES! So when it was my turn I had to cut the sides because you cant cut the middle because that is where the baby's are.
It was finally break time! After break time we sang two songs to New Market School.Those songs were Come to the River and Manuia te aho. Then it was time to say goodbye.
